Biography
Dr.Kshetrimayum Birla Singh is working as Assistant Professor working in the Department of Zoology, Pachuunga University College (a Constituent College of Mizoram University), Aizawl, India. He obtained his Master of Science and Ph.D. Degree from the Department of Zoology (Centre for Advance Study), Panjab University Chandigarh. India He did his Post Doctoral Research at Kings College, University of London under Professor Wolfgang Maret of the Department of Diabetes and Nutritional Sciences. His field of specialization is Animal Physiology and Biochemistry. He has more than 5 years of teaching and research experiences. His areas of research interests are trace mineral nutrition research, metabolic syndrome-x, gene polymorphism in diseases and recently natural products studies. He has to his credit 21 research papers in the journals of International repute. He has also reviewed more than 20 research papers from the journals of International repute. He has also presented 27 research papers in many national seminars in India and in International conference abroad. He is currently life member of 5 professional academic bodies in India.
Research Interest
Trace mineral nutrition research, metabolic syndrome-x, gene polymorphism in diseases and recently natural products studies.
